What is AliExpress?
AliExpress is essentially an online store, but with individual sellers/merchants that sell products at crazy cheap prices.
The site was founded in 2010 in China and is owned by the e-commerce company, Alibaba, (one of the world’s largest internet companies).
How does AliExpress work?
After making your free account the checkout process is very standard. They also ship to most countries!
Most merchants are based out of China but the site is all translated to English and the merchants write in English.
How are the items so cheap?
The majority of merchants are based out of China and source their products from Chinese manufacturers, keeping their costs very low so they can sell at low prices.
Is AliExpress legit/safe?
Yes, but definitely read reviews! Items can be very hit or miss. Sometimes not as described/pictured. You can get refunds and return items that are damaged or don’t arrive.
- Super cheap
- Shipping takes forever, (up to 1-2 months).
- Tracking sucks
- Some products are awful so read reviews on items and sellers!
I filmed some AliExpress baby clothing hauls where I review each item!
