My number one resolution for 2019 is to be a better and more present mother. I checked my son’s iPad usage and YIKES! To be perfectly honest, I’m afraid to check my phone use habits. I am a blogger so it makes sense for me to be on my phone at times throughout the day, but I know I use it far too much. Let’s be real, most of my time on my phone is not being productive or work-related.
While scrolling through Pinterest I stumbled upon some parenting quotes that struck major chords with me. While they made me feel guilty they did not make me feel ashamed. Rather, these quotes inspired to put my phone down and actually enjoy my children. I know I shouldn’t need Pinterest quotes to remind me to be a good mother but life is crazy and sometimes we forget what our priorities should be. It’s good to have small reminders.
Here are 10 parenting quotes that I want to live by in 2019 to be the best mother that I can be:
1.
Are you the adult you want your children to become?

3.
The way we talk to our children becomes their inner voice.
